On May 4, 2022, the Masters of Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability (MSLS) at Blekinge Institute of Technology hosted an online event in which I interviewed Jonathon Porritt on the topic of sustaining hope in the context of the climate crisis. We discussed discussed his long career advocating for sustainability and the sense of optimism he feels despite the ongoing challenges we face, as well as his most recent book entitled Hope in Hell: A decade to confront the climate emergency.
Jonathon Porritt is co-founder of Forum for the Future, President of The Conservation Volunteers, a Non-Executive Director of Willmott Dixon Holdings, and a Director of Collectively (an online platform celebrating sustainable innovation). He is involved in the work of many NGOs and charities as Patron, Chair or Special Adviser.
